DreamsJar collects minimal information necessary to provide you with a great savings experience:

• Savings Goals: Goal names, target amounts, deadlines, and deposit preferences you create
• Deposit History: Records of deposits you log toward your goals
• App Preferences: Your notification settings and display preferences

How Your Data is Stored

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. If you subscribe to DreamsJar Plus, you may optionally enable iCloud sync to access your goals across your Apple devices. This data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account.

Information We Don't Collect

DreamsJar does not collect:

• Bank account information or financial credentials
• Location data
• Contact information
• Browsing history
• Personal identification information

Third-Party Services

DreamsJar uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For processing DreamsJar Plus subscriptions
• Apple iCloud: Optional sync for premium users (encrypted, stored in your iCloud)

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You can delete individual goals or all app data at any time through the app's Settings menu.

Children's Privacy

DreamsJar does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences learning to save money.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
